NYC antifolk cult songwriter and comic artist Jeffrey Lewis is teaming up with longtime friends and frequent tourmates The Burning Hell for a tour of the Northeast USA this fall. Hailing from Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island, The Burning Hell will be performing songs from their recently released album Garbage Island, and Jeffrey will be mining his extensive back catalog of songs and hand-drawn short films. Bring your ears and your eyes: in spite of their differences, these two acts share a love of densely-packed narratives, surprising twists, and joyful performances.

Putting a fresh spin on traditional Celtic music, the Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio delivers a dynamic show full of foot-stompin' fiddle tunes and classic Irish songs. Award-winning fiddler Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki is joined by fellow New Hampshire natives Matt Jensen on guitar and Chris Noyes on upright bass. Maya de Vitry is heading north from Nashville to play for us. She grew up playing classical violin, traveled the country as a fiddling street performer, and toured for seven years as a member of the acclaimed string band The Stray Birds. She recently released her solo debut, Adaptations, in 2019. In 2007, Mathias Kom collected some of his many songs and started a band named after a religious tract handed to him by a wide-eyed zealot in Toronto. Mathias subsequently invited all of his friends to join him in performing these songs about seagulls, shopping malls, and the similarities between love and hurricanes.

A Canadian and US National fiddle champion, Shane Cook captivates audiences with technically thrilling and adventurous performances. Noted by The Canadian Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame as one of the “finest fiddlers in the world today,” Shane has distinguished himself as a master of the Canadian old-time fiddle tradition. He also enjoys playing and arranging everything from traditional Irish and Scottish music to Pop and Bluegrass. One of Canada’s most highly awarded fiddlers, Shane is also the only foreign fiddler to win the US Grand National Championship.
